President Mbigha Felix of the North West Regional League of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has been appointed 4th vice president of the national office, in replacement of Henry Njalla Quan Jnr who stepped down from the role two months ago.
Njalla Quan vacated the role citing corruption and match-fixing among others as reasons he could no longer be a part of the system.
The decision to appoint Mbigha into the role was made public this Friday, September 15 through resolutions of the Executive Committee meeting that held last Monday in Garoua.
“The Executive Committee unanimously decides replace Mr Henry Njalla Quan Jnr as vice president with Mbigha Felix,” resolution 14 of the release read.
Mbigha, who has been FECAFOOT Northwest president for half a decade will have to find a new replacement in his role through an elections process to be announced.
In a related development, Issa Pius has been appointed into the executive committee messrs Yousouffa and Bouadeu Augustin, replacing Njalla Quan, Feutcheu Joseph and Boubakary Bello.
