- Eto’o task 72hrs to get new staff for lions
FECAFOOT Executive Committee recommends President Eto’o to submit within 72 hours proposals for appointment of coaching staff for the national team.
This was part of the emergency meeting, held on April 6,at the FA governing body head office at Tsinga.
The following results came out of the FA exco gathering;
” The emergency Committee unanimously notes that Fecafoot was not in the procedure leading to the appointment on April 2,of the members of the management structure of the Senior men’s selection in disregard of the aforementioned texts.”
“The emergency committee unanimously recommends to the President of Fecafoot,in application of Article 4 of Decree No 2014/384 of September 2021 and article 40 , paragraph 11 of the Fecafoot status, to submit to him, within seventy-two hours, proposals for three appointment of members of the management structure of the national football selection”.
The information comes as a fire back,to the two page letter addressed to Eto’o by Prof Narcisse Mouelle Kombi of Sports and Physical Education stating that FECAFOOT had submitted a list of three candidates and their salary range per month was between 82 million FCFA and 132 million FCFA. Which government judged too high, hence the proposals were rejected.
